THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED First in the McCormick & Schmick’s chain’s restaurant empire, there's always a party happening in this vibrant downtown spot. Dominated by a giant bar stocked with an outstanding selection of single malt scotches, the happy hour draws a rollicking, rowdy after-work crowd. The dining room, ornate with lots of wood and polished brass, resembles one of those splendid early-twentieth century restaurant-saloons where everybody knows your name. The food is fine, the portions generous, and the atmosphere conducive to good dining cheer. Seductive fish and seafood choices include King crab, halibut stuffed with crab, Brie and shrimp, and, of course, the same fresh fish sheet found at Jake’s, the uptown brother establishment. The service is snappily professional, with just the right amount of sass to keep things lively.
