| Shucks...there are few places in landlocked KC where you can count on landing a truly fresh catch. The good news is McCormick & Schmick's is one of them. Known throughout the city as oyster central, this raw bar and seafood purveyor prides itself on having its fare flown in daily. Menus for both lunch and dinner, printed daily, feature creative specialties from a citrus ceviche martini and blue crab bisque to Quilcene Bay oysters and skillet-blackened catfish. The restaurant offers comfortable dark wood seating, set under a huge stained glass dome. Above street-level seating overlooking the Plaza provides a perch from which to view the bustling street scene below. |
