THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED McCray's 6th Street Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: Warm, dark wood paneling and plenty of well-positioned TVs draw Midtown crowds to a neighborhood pub-style tavern, where even the kids are welcome. The main menu focuses on Italian fare, with lots of pasta dishes, but sandwiches may be the best reason to go. The Reuben is proper and classic, with lots of corned beef and sauerkraut, and the burger is a generous two-hander. Both come on appropriate and good-quality breads. The standard side is house-made potato chips, which may be had as an appetizer with Gorgonzola cheese. A nondescript pasta salad is offered as an alternative, but you definitely want to skip it. Forty beers on tap means you won't leave thirsty.
