THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Chandler's Crabhouse Restaurant Review:

From the same folks behind the regional steakhouse Daniel's Broiler comes this view-centric seafood spot. It's hard to beat the combination of sparkling Lake Union vistas with choice seafood. The upscale ambience and nautical touches make this fish house popular for business meetings as well as for special occasions. It's also famous for its year-round crab fest, which features (in season) giant Tasmanian crabs, Florida stone crabs, Chesapeake Bay blues, and from the Pacific Northwest, Dungeness and Alaskan king crabs. You’re welcome to don a bib to enjoy savory, butter-roasted whole crab or the stir-fried variety doused in ginger and black bean sauce. The versatile crustacean also stars in the sherry-laced cioppino and a whiskey-kissed crab soup. If you're not in a crabby mood, try fresh oysters in the bar or on the deck. The modest wine list showcases Northwest and California labels, and includes a good selection by the glass, nicely discounted for happy hour, which is offered daily beginning at 3 p.m. and lasting until closing time. For a satisfying sweet finale in the dining room (yes, there really is a crab ice cream available), order the banana cream pie. It's a much better bet.
