Chow Thai contradicts the routine strip mall eatery with its décor and culinary talent. Step through the door and the serene yet chic Asian vibe makes you forget what lies outside. Have a seat at the semi-circular dim sum bar, veiled by a wall of slinky chain mail, or relax in the main dining room for a leisurely meal. The mango sea bass is served with crispy Thai spices, mango and Thai basil; coconut rice, asparagus and broccoli are nice complements. Moo fei (pork medallions) are sliced, grilled, marinated and tossed with garlic, lemon grass and herb dressing and served atop greens with sticky rice. Crab and avocado spring rolls are accompanied by cashew dipping sauce. Traditional noodle and fried rice dishes are savory as well. Asian-themed cocktails make an impact with the likes of the Blue Skyy Buddha or the Chow Thai Mai Thai.
