Cumberland Brews Restaurant Review:

Gleaming steel-and-copper brewing equipment, visible through glass behind the bar, is larger than the compact dining area dotted with a dozen tables. A chalkboard on one wall lists current beers (nitro-porter, red ale Red, and a hoppy A.P.A. are mainstays) as well as specials. The latter can range from vegetarian calzones to rack of lamb. The regular menu features flavorful, addictive chicken wings (Jamaican jerk, Thai with peanut sauce, traditional Buffalo), very good fish tacos, and a burger made with lean bison (add bacon and/or cheese). Desserts change nightly, so ask your efficient server for the selection, assuming you have room for sugar after more than one pint of the first-rate beer. There’s seating downstairs, at the bar, via sidewalk tables in good weather, and in the upstairs loft, if it isn’t in use for a private party.
