Ginza Restaurant Review:

Although Ginza stands out as a sushi bar, the izakaya menu is equally noteworthy for its long and varied scroll that features items that range from traditional to modern. Prime examples: the fried calamari versus the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass. Tamer palates would enjoy the fried wontons, while more adventurous diners might opt for the fried sardines with roe and a little bit of spice. The house rolls really rock. We suggest the Jo special, a combination of tempura shrimp, cream cheese and avocado topped with even more shrimp, or the Ventana special --- a salute to Ventana Canyon just up the road --- featuring cucumber, avocado, yellowtail, uni, ikura and masago. Diners can go all out and order one of the sushi boats, or forgo sushi entirely and instead turn their attention to the donburi, teppan and tataki, all prepared with an assortment of ingredients.
