Fajitas rule the day at this rambunctious, rambling, ranch-style restaurant with stone fireplaces and a big sun-filled porch. Be sure to ask for some of the special buttery cheese sauce to drizzle on your fajitas, that is, if your heart can stand it. Founded by Mariano Martinez, the man who invented the frozen margarita machine, there's a bit of Tex-Mex and a lot of Tex on the menu---plenty of mesquite-grilled meats along with tacos and enchiladas. Portions are generous and it's a great place to take the kids.
