Via Baci Restaurant Review:

Light and bright with exposed ductwork and lots of windows, Via Baci’s large dining room is a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. But at times, when the screams of children bounce off the concrete floors, we prefer our meals to go. The friendly, helpful staff is more than happy to help guests navigate the overwhelming list of Neapolitan pizzas and salads. We like the fresh antipasto d’Italia: crisp bites of romaine and baby greens, provolone cheese, fresh mozzarella made in-house, chunks of salami and pepperoni, black and green Italian olives, spicy pepperoncini, roasted red peppers and creamy garbanzo beans, all tossed with just the right amount of balsamic vinaigrette. The thin crust of the prosciutto e rucola pizza is topped with San Marzano tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, then popped into a 750-degree wood-fired oven that yields just the right balance of crispness and gooeyness, and finally crowned with handfuls of peppery arugula, fragrant basil, tissue-thin sheets of prosciutto and shaved Parmesan. The wine roster, while not extensive, is inexpensive, and on Tuesday and Thursday, all bottles are half-price.
