THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Watershed on Peachtree Restaurant Review:

Keeping faith with the simple purity of classic Southern fare, Watershed on Peachtree has a bright, clean, contemporary interior. From the bar to the dining room and the patio, it offers a variety of dining and seating alternatives, as well as expansive views of the busy, iconic street that defines Atlanta. The menu follows the farm-to-table path, roaming the South and showcasing dishes and flavors from many of its regions, such as the Florida stone crab claws. Bar snacks are well designed to accompany drinks, and we especially like the bar burger, the deviled eggs and the pimento cheese. Lunch still features the truffled chicken salad that's been a mainstay on the menu since the restaurant opened. For starters, we suggest the broiled oysters graced with a creamy crab topping. Juicy and not ruined with extraneous additions, the lightly breaded fried chicken on Wednesdays is served with very good biscuits. Get the excellent collard greens for a side. For dessert, the Southern baking tradition is deeply plumbed with everything from banana pudding to a sexy cheese cake finished with apple. The wine list offers many satisfying choices that complement the food, including a good number by the glass, but we do wish we could get a Georgia wine to accompany the rest of this fine menu.
