THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mesa Restaurant Review: Santa Fe-influenced cooking is the mainstay of this spacious, drop-dead gorgeous restaurant on the edge of River Oaks. Despite the regional nod, youre in no danger of drowning in chilies, tomatillo sauces and fiery seasonings. Although Mexican and southwestern dishes dominate the menu, the occasional Italian or Asian touches crops up as well in an inventive and intelligent mix. Even traditional dishes such as fajitas, enchiladas, tortillas and black bean soup enjoy interesting, but subtle twists. The staff is uniformly pleasant, efficient and attitude-free.
