THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED MET Bethesda Restaurant Review:
A sibling of the MET restaurants in New England, this Bethesda destination offers a high-end repertoire of creative dishes. Imagine chicken Parmesan that resembles a pizza, but is actually flattened and marinated chicken breasts that are coated with cheeses and baked; or the mile-high Bethesda burger built with pepper Jack cheese, bacon, and a mash-up of crab meat and avocado. The menu take diners from a thick and rich New England clam chowder and crispy coconut calamari to a Back Bay chopped salad (very Bostonian), Chesapeake crab casserole and a grilled Prime skirt steak. Brunch gathers many standard appetizers but adds on pancakes, pork-stuffed hash browns with a fried egg, and a Cap’t Crunch french toast, among other possibilities. Expect a wide range of cocktails, wines, brews, and a crafty fruit purée (think passion fruit, Meyer lemon, blueberry, prickly pear, pomegranate, mango and more) that can be injected into drinks. Located on the third floor of Westfield Montgomery, MET Bethesda offers a haven for those who may shop till they drop but want quality food in between.
