THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mezzanotte Restaurant Review

: You have now entered a time warp. It’s still 1988 and always will be at Mezzanotte. Slammed with buxom babes dancing in six-inch heels in teeny tube skirts on the tables and slick fellas in double-breasted Armani suits, trying to get your dinner down can be trying. The food is predictable Italian, consistent and uncontrived. Antipasti and simple traditional pastas adorn the menu. A battalion of neon-bright Ferraris and convertible Porsches line up outside, publicizing the same clientele that has defined this hangout for over a decade. Still one of the top people watching venues on the beach after all these years, it’s easy to see why Mezzanotte continues to pack a crowd.

Here is a tid bit: In 1995 I wanted to see how the other side of exotic dancing worked (Magic Mike) and hear their story. Since I had a taste of the female side and a few relationships. And my transcript book called "Sleeping with a Dancer: An Exotic Illusion" But I had to get the male side. And Boy did I get the male side.

I became a male exotic dancer, I did shows from Washington D.C, Richmond Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. I even did shows on cruise ships, with Gambling in International waters.

I danced for some famous people, and not so famous people. I even did strip o grams (hey when i go under cover, I go undercover!

I had various full uniforms of Police, Navy officer, Marine Blues, Rock star (that was easy), as well as other characters.

Nevertheless, I did a strip o gram at this very up scale restaurant called Mezzanotte in South Beach Miami, Florida.

I pull up and I see two Rolls Royce, 1 Lamborghini, 2 Ferrari's, 3 limos. And I thought I can't do this, I'm good but not that good.

I'm wearing a full Police Uniform with Sargent strips with patches that looked official but said security officer. As I stood outside with all my hair under my blue cloth police hat. I was standing by the entrance watching all these beautiful people walking in, it was crowded to say the least.

Anyway, I walked in and the DJ met me at the door and he said"We've been waiting for you. The birthday girl has no idea what is going on. And she is right over there with those other 50 girls.

I about fell out, but i had to do it. So as I walked up I saw this dude it was Sylvester Stallone standing near by. I was like WTF I can't do this.

So, I walked up to the birthday girl, (oh,my god, she was so beautiful she looked famous. I asked her if she drove a a black Mercedes-Benz 500.

She said yes what happened, I told her she had to come with me that there was an accident with her car, and there was bodily injury. And that she was being arrested for hit and run.

Oh..she freaked out and started to cry and said she just got the car and she never hit anyone.

Then, I waved at the DJ and he played Marky Mark and the funky bunch "You Gotta Believe" 2nd song "Gonna Have A Good Time" 3rd "Mama Said Knock You Out". LL Cool J.

I was a hit and everyone was tipping me, wanted to know who I was. Stallone tipped me what I though was two dollars..I was thinking really cheapskate. I was like really dudes tipping me???

I was down to my well ya know...lol

I got to the bathroom, I told security to not let anyone in, I was counting my Cheddar, And Stallone gave me two $100 dollar bills.

As I was leaving i was actually signing girls guest cards, and Stallone invited me to his art show.

The rest I can't tell you.

My friend told me tonight that Mezzanotte had closed.

I guess I could have just said that.

I have two years of stories..nothing like Magic Mike better!!!

What haven't I done???

I love my life!!!
