Mimi's Cafe Restaurant Review: Comfort is the name of the game at this national chain --- the menu runs the gamut with burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas and seafood. Zucchini Parmesan is a favorite, wedges of tender zucchini fried golden brown, dusted with Parmesan and romano cheeses, and accompanied by ranch dressing and marinara sauce for dipping. (If you want to feel a little less guilty, fried appetizers are made using cholesterol-free cooking oil and zero grams trans fat.) Hot from the oven, the freshly-made signature chicken potpie features moist chicken breast, tender vegetables and a light cream sauce baked in a flaky crust. For dessert, try the bread pudding made with French bread, plump raisins and vanilla, served with buttery whiskey sauce and cool whipped cream.
