| Monroe's, Albuquerque's green chile cheeseburger spot, has a patio, plenty of cheerful Mexican tile work and even a private room for large parties. As well as the burgers that made the original Monroe's on Lomas famous, try the blue-corn tortilla chicken enchiladas with green chile, and don't miss the spicy, thick salsa, even though you'll be hit with a small charge for chips. In lieu of dessert, a pineapple shake and, of course, hot sopaipillas with honey fill the bill. The service, always friendly and capable, will help make you feel right at home. |
