THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
We like the way this restaurant uses all the old steakhouse tricks---titanic cuts of meat, side dishes served à la carte---but infuses the proceedings with a touch of elegance. When your server brings out the cart heavy with the day's offerings, it never feels as gaudy as it should. Of the porterhouse, filet or the New York Strip, we are partial to the way the filet comes charred on the outside, slightly cool in the center. For sides we recommend the asparagus; and try one of the dessert soufflés, which must be ordered with your meal to allow time for preparation. If you're having trouble deciding, you can always interrupt one of the many deal-making dinners going on next to you and tap into their decision-making prowess.
