THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED New Orleans Bistro Restaurant Review: The South gets its due here with a setting that celebrates all that jazz, New Orleans-style. We enjoy the stylish surroundings, but even more, the pretty New Orleans cooking, such as the seafood jambalaya with its faintly hot Creole sauce arrayed around a central mound of rice. There's also a pecan-crusted chicken breast, brushed with a faintly tart coating of mustard, and a cream of crab and corn soup, with the barest hint of red pepper peeking through. The dinner menu is replete with plenty of Southern dishes and a lush sweet potato pie. Now that's good, old-boy cooking.
