Long a landmark on the main drag through Kapaa, Norberto's is old-fashioned and simple; the two-tier restaurant has plain wood tables and a standard Mexican décor. The food is hearty and has some unusual twists: try the taro leaf enchiladas for a local treat or the special fish tacos and enchiladas. Otherwise, the offerings are pretty standard and the food tends to be heavy. But the margaritas are big and tasty and the salsa is spicy, so relax and enjoy while you wait for your food.
