Nuvrei Patisserie & Cafe Restaurant Review:

The aroma of Nuvrei's baking will entice you before you notice the entrance to this somewhat cramped café. Follow your nose and you'll encounter some of the best croissants in town. These flaky, buttery delights have enough character to be enjoyed on their own, but we also recommend the almond, chocolate and pistachio rose cream versions. Or choose a croissant filled with chicken salad or ham and cheese. Downstairs, the MAC bar presents macarons in saturated colors and flavors such as chai and orange blossom. Bagels and the thick, soft pretzels have been, alas, phased out, but there are still some savory treats, such as a bacon-cheddar biscuit and a sesame roll filled with chicken curry. Pair these treats with a cup of locally roasted Heart coffee. Seating is at a premium and plates are paper; you may prefer taking out to eating in.
