Oasis Cafe Restaurant Review: The Hawthorne District may have changed dramatically over the last 20 years, but this pizza joint has remained pretty much unchanged, offering chewy, fresh slices and pies in an unusually wide array of options. Tomato, pesto, or white cream sauce? Mozzarella, cheddar, feta or Gorgonzola? The choice is yours. There are toppings galore, from traditional to totally unexpected, such as wild boar. Pizza-haters (Is there such a creature?) can fill up on a meal-size salad or sandwich. On warm dry days, the sidewalk picnic tables offer good people-watching opportunities. |
