The Oasis Cafe Restaurant Review: The mostly vegetarian dishes at The Oasis Cafe, such as tiny starters like zucchini-wrapped tofu in tomato basil sauce and ratatouille tartlet, don't disappoint. They'll spark your taste buds for the spinach-filled Dover sole or the filet medallions stuffed with Gorgonzola and mushrooms. Save your money, however, and hit the Oasis for breakfast. It's the perfect place to catch up with friends over cranberry-walnut and sourdough french toast or eggs Benedict Florentine. On warmer days, you'll want a seat near the bubbling fountain in the shade in the courtyard. Inside is a casual, airy coffeehouse space where the atmosphere fails to justify the over-priced, albeit fresh-tasting, menu items. |
