| The classic seafood preparations are here, such as salmon steak and crab cakes, but the menu stretches far beyond into Mediterranean and Asian flavors. A laudable number of whole fish preparations are served tableside and there’s a tempting raw bar, too. The wine list is well chosen with several good Greek vintages available. Desserts are very sweet indeed and generally Greek. There’s baklava, of course, but also ekmek---shredded phyllo with a light custard filling topped with meringue---as well as apple truffle, a kind of Greek apple turnover made with apple slices wrapped in phyllo. Vanilla ice cream is served on the side. |
