 Not all siblings are alike, and the Oishii trio is a prime example. The Chestnut Hill location is tiny, the South End is trendy, and the Sudbury outpost is pricey, but they all deliver the same quality fish prepared with flair. Sushi rolls reign supreme --- tuna is exquisitely fatty; geoduck is a textural wonder; and the omakase is justifiably renowned. Cold and hot appetizers range from Kobe beef carpaccio to steamed edamame, but the real gems are found with the chef’s creations, such as grilled Wagyu beef with shallot saké sauce. The spicy seafood udon noodle dish is filled with shrimp, scallops, fish cake and vegetables, while the signature diamond shrimp is butterflied and stuffed with hotate hokaiyaki. Wash it all down with a lychee martini, passion saketini or glass of Pinot Grigio. For dessert, try the ginger ice cream with splash of Chambord.
