THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Oriental East Restaurant Review: We wish that places like Oriental East existed in every neighborhood. Not only is the daily dim sum delicious, but we've also enjoyed many dishes on the menu, most of which are Cantonese inspired. We adore the Mongolian lamb (which isn't Cantonese), Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce and the orange beef, and have returned often for the dim sum offerings, which come rattling past the tables on carts at regular intervals. It's best to arrive early on weekends---the crowds line up fast and if you straggle in later, you'll surely wait for your dim sum. Weekends are the most fun for families, and everyone seems to have a great time.
