Osteria del Figo Restaurant Review: Launching a small local chain of casual restaurants, Sandro Romagnoli, who grew up near Florence, Italy, knows how to deliver authentic Italian fare for small prices. Patrons pick a pasta, served al dente, then decide on the sauce. The ricotta-and-spinach ravioli might be your pasta pick, with the pancetta-spiked, spicy tomato sauce, or try the same sauce on the short-rib-stuffed ravioli. Place your order and pay your tab, then grab a seat until it is promptly delivered. The house-made desserts--especially tiramisu---are worth the extra money and the calories.
