Outback Steakhouse Restaurant Review: The theme here is Australian, wearyingly so. But the food is actually New Orleans steakhouse style, not Ruth's Chris, but not bad either, especially for the money. The bloomin' onion, a Japanese tempura chrysanthemum onion, is served with an authentic New Orleans rémoulade, while steaks are seasoned à la New Orleans, but this is enough of a family restaurant operation that you can have almost anything grilled---from pork chops to vegetables. One would hope a steakhouse with an Australian theme would have a great list of Australian wine. Nope.
