P.F. Chang's China Bistro Restaurant Review: P.F. Chang’s dishes up an alternative Asian option to the sauce-heavy Chinese fare you’d find in a local strip mall. The open, bi-level space is subtly lighted and features decorative Chinese sculptures and murals. The menu offers a sizable selection of adequately-prepared and reasonably priced contemporary dishes. Start with the crab wontons filled with a creamy mixture of meat, bell peppers and green onions. Once you move past the starters, you’ll find a bevy of Asian renditions of shrimp, beef, chicken, lo mein and fried rice. Specialties include Chang’s spicy chicken as well as the beef tossed with a mild chili sauce and fresh orange peel. Most entrées are available with either white or brown rice, a nice --- and healthy --- change of pace. There's a full bar churning out specialty cocktails, including Patron and organic agave nectar, shaken with fresh lime juice. An assortment of saké, beer and wine is available as well.
