P.F. Chang's China Bistro Restaurant Review: Part of an upscale national chain, this is where locals and visitors go when they want good-looking modern surroundings, good wines by the glass and traditional Chinese food. Featured in the dining room's décor are large picture windows, a hand-painted mural depicting scenes of life in 12th century China, and terra cotta warriors similar to those unearthed from the tomb of China's first emperor. Comfortable benches and a statue of a majestic horse grace the way to its front door. We're partial to starters such as the lettuce-wrapped chopped chicken and the crab won tons with spicy plum sauce. Try the orange peel chicken tossed with chili peppers, and Cantonese sea scallops stir-fried with garlic, yellow chives and snow peas. The lemon-pepper shrimp stir-fried with bean sprouts and chives is a favorite, as are the banana spring rolls with coconut-pineapple ice cream drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces.
