Dishes are artfully presented and service is friendly. Starters include lettuce wraps, harvest spring rolls, and hot-and-sour soup. However, beware the ahi salad, which is sometimes overwhelmed by Chinese five-spice. If pairing wines with Chinese food has always been a mystery, select a wine from the carefully chosen list designed to complement the seasonings and spices of this versatile cuisine. For example, orange peel chicken, plump pieces of chicken breast candied in orange glaze and zest, marries nicely with a glass of New Zealand Chardonnay. |
