Pabu Boston Restaurant Review

: Millennium Tower Boston in Downtown Crossing is home to Pabu from chefs Michael Mina and Ken Tominaga. The restaurant offers a contemporary interpretation of the izakaya dining experience and the menu features local ingredients such as Maine lobster along with sushi and sashimi. Dishes include seared Hudson Valley foie gras as well as monkfish liver “ocean foie gras”; Kabocha pumpkin soup; and butter-basted Angus and Wagyu steaks, hot pots and robata grilled items. Pabu has a 28-page beverage list with several pages dedicated to saké and Japanese whisky. For dessert, look for the mochi sundae with passionfruit tapioca and pomegranate shaved ice.
