THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Panache Bistro Restaurant Review

: Take your laptop for a working breakfast, lunch meeting or deal-closing dinner, or kickback and relax with a glass of fine wine and upscale cuisine---this is not your typical cyber café. The bistro’s high back booths offer privacy for business or socializing in pleasant surroundings that include Internet dial-up modem ports conveniently placed at each table without being obtrusive. Breakfast fare can be fast from the limited buffet or linger over an omelet stuffed with fresh vegetables of the season. Start lunch with a cup of soup and you’ll be sorry that you didn’t order the bowl. Luncheon salads are hearty enough to satisfy, or savor the grilled chicken portobello sandwich that is large enough to require a knife and fork. Chef favorites include succulent seafood potpie and chicken crêpes. Dinner offers bistro fare with an attitude. Beer-battered soft shell crabs come with a tangy ginger-plum sauce; green and red gazpacho sauces complement rather than overpower baked sea bass. The crab cakes accompanied by Louisiana rémoulade are so yummy you’re apt to forget the laptop!
