THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Pasta Shoppe Restaurant Review:

The Pasta Shoppe makes its pasta within site of guests, so it’s some of the freshest in town and also available to take home. The menu rotates frequently depending on seasonal ingredients and there’s always something new. Start with the lacinato salad of kale, pine nuts, candied kumquat and thin-sliced ricotta with a delicate grapefruit vinaigrette, or the rustic cannellini e salumi of diced charcuterie, white beans, sliced tomatoes and an herb broth, culminating in a rustic stew. Since pasta is the highlight, try the spaghettini with tender clams and mussels, a bit of garlic and tomato, accented with edible zucchini flowers; blue potato gnocchi that employs basil-infused olive oil, lavender and lemon butter sauce to delicately accentuate the plush purple-hued gnocchi; and braised oxtail pasta with pea tendrils, an earthy dish. There’s a counter facing the kitchen for copious views.
