| You’ll be able to tell quickly that you’re not the only one who loves breakfast when you see the line that’s usually flowing out the door at Paula’s. But don’t fret, the meal is served well into the afternoon (3 p.m.) and it’s worth the wait. Pancakes---you guessed it---are the stars here. The lofty reputation is well deserved. The extensive menu features thin Danish pancakes, old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes, waffles and sausages, eggs and omelets. Lunch (mainly burgers, sandwiches and salads) is also served, as well as dessert pastries and a New York-style cheesecake topped with seasonal berries. But it’s the memorable breakfasts that fuel that line. |
