Pho consists of a well-flavored broth and rice noodles similar to vermicelli. Pho 24 is a large chain of restaurants that specializes in this popular Vietnamese street fare dish. The huge menu features three sizes of pho bowls, and medium is ample enough for two people to share. You choose the meat that you want with your pho, and it comes with a generous portion of fresh bean sprouts and cilantro adornment to be added to taste. Also good are the banh mi and the green papaya salad. Alcohol is limited to beer and wine, but beer is the better choice; alternatively, consider a hot tea. This location is the only one that's open to 6 a.m. and then reopens at 9 a.m.
