Chef Ryan Luckey’s signature dishes reveal quality local ingredients prepared with care, and beautifully presented. Appetizer standouts include the Kona lobster-coconut Thai bisque, redolent with red curry flavor; jumbo lump crab cakes; and a fine cheese plate that includes a locally-produced chèvre alongside selections from Spain and France. We recommend the pistachio- and wasabi pea-crusted ahi steak, seared just right and rare in the middle, nicely accompanied by creamy coconut-infused black rice. The Asian braised short ribs are fork-tender with kalbi-style sauce, served with a truffled potato purée. Make sure to leave room for dessert, because the pineapple upside-down cake, topped with rum-coconut sauce and a scoop of macadamia nut ice cream, is something you will dream about. The extensive wine list featuring selections from around the world will satisfy any wine aficionado. Service is professional in the warm, elegant setting.
