![]() Pizzeria Uno Restaurant Review: Back in 1943, the business of serving pizza took a giant leap forward thanks to the opening of Pizzeria Uno. Not surprisingly, this place attracts locals, tourists and celebrities. There’s good reason: deep-dish pies don't get much better. And in this setting --- which is pure Chicago pizzeria, from the checkered tablecloths to the snappy waitstaff --- pizza never tasted so good. There are a few seasonal items thrown into the mix, too, so feel free to switch things up with the likes of a kalamata olives, feta and broccoli ’za. You may have to wait to get a table, but it's worth it. Pizzeria Due, Uno’s sibling, is located just a block away at 619 N. Wabash Ave, 312-943-2400. |
