THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Plano Cafe Restaurant Review:

You really, really want to like the Plano Café, what with its casual, down-home décor, hands-on attention (sometimes) from the owner, and certain dishes that stand out. But the flaws, unfortunately, stand in the way-the waitstaff sorely needs training, the food zigzags in quality, and the hours can change overnight. There’s a lot we like, though, about the Plano Café: the crab cakes with sundried tomato mayo are a tasty appetizer, and most of the desserts are worthy of mention, especially the succulent bread pudding. We’ve enjoyed many of the daily specials, especially the seafood ones, and the vegetables are always perfectly steamed.
