Pranzo Italian Grill Restaurant Review: Located in the Sanbusco Market Center, this upscale Italian restaurant offers diners a chance to unwind after a shopping excursion. Steven Lemon, the chef who helped launch Pranzo 25 years ago, is back at the helm after a nearly two-decade hiatus. His refined menu includes a deconstructed Caesar salad, featuring a barely poached egg atop crisp Bibb lettuce, with fried white anchovies and cured pig’s jowls. Lemon adds a bit of brightness to several of his dishes, including a creamy orecchiette with duck confit, currants and roasted jalapeño, and braised lamb shank with dried corn, Parmesan rind and red chile. The upstairs dining room gives way to large airy windows and live piano music so guests can relax and rest their weary shopping feet. And if you visit the bathroom, you’ll be treated to a mini Italian lesson courtesy of the looping language tape.
