Pupuseria El Comalito offers snappy good food in a super-casual setting. Appetizers include plantains with crema or deep-fried meat-filled turnovers. But the main draw is the pupusas. Fortunately, there are plenty of choices, with fillings of cheese, pork, cheese and pork, beans, chicken or squash. Order several variations and walk away satisfied; however, consider main dishes of fried tilapia and carne asada. Burgers and grilled chicken are available, too. Desserts are minimal; pineapple turnovers are an option.
