THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Quasimodo's Sanctuary Restaurant Review: Dominated by a monumental wooden bar, the décor runs to the odd European accent piece: seahorse griffins, crown-shaped chandeliers and carved faces. The menu has an Italian bent, primarily pastas, chicken, seafood and veal with the occasional Peruvian accent. Share the bountiful Italian rainbow salad, which teems with corn, roasted serrano peppers, avocado and chicken, all dusted with white cheese. Desserts like cheesecake and an ice cream ball are acceptable but not exciting, and hardly grounds for lingering. The one-of-a-kind décor provides encouragement enough for that, as will the watchful yet non-invasive staff.
