THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Quench Restaurant Review:

One of Rockville’s most intriguing restaurants, Quench, occupying a small corner location, has a name that may suggest it’s a drinks-focused destination. But in fact that’s not the case, although the bar menu doesn’t disappoint. The skilled chef turns out an eclectic brunch line-up featuring a grilled cheese sandwich starring Brie; a chicken-waffle sandwich (it’s immense); an “Elvis” with banana french toast; and a Quench burger with white cheddar. Many of the brunch items turn up on the weekday lunch menu, but at dinner, the elevated offerings include entrées that showcase gnocchi, Thai basil mussels, and pan-roasted chicken breast. Quench also features weekly events such as a mixology class and tastings --- fitting given the rather eclectic cocktails, like one with jalapeño-infused tequila and lime juice.
