R. Thomas Deluxe Grill Restaurant Review: R. Thomas Deluxe Grill satisfies a wide range of dietary concerns---from vegetarian to vegan to gluten-free---including plain old hunger. Organically grown flowers and plants, personally tended to by owner Richard Thomas, edge the “dining room,” which is a climate-controlled patio. Folk art whirligigs twirl and twist, adding an unexpected earthiness to this sophisticated neighborhood. Come for the burgers (made with beef from cattle raised without hormones and antibiotics), the stuffed baked potatoes, the omelets and the Key lime pie. The restaurant only closes one day a month (usually a Monday) from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. for maintenance. |
