: Slip on some comfortable shoes, because the wait at the Ragtime Tavern & Seafood Grille can easily stretch past 45 minutes. Yet once you've claimed a table, you'll realize it was well worth it. As the city's oldest microbrewery, Ragtime does a bang-up job on Florida favorites like blackened snapper and skewered seafood --- not to mention its creative selection of microbrews. In addition to good food, Ragtime is a hot-spot for local party people. There is a main dining area, a sunken appetizer room, a tap room for the microbrewery and a loft that seats large parties. Open and airy, the layout is conducive to a boisterous, active crowd, making this a prime location for friends and families to convene for weekend get-togethers, birthday celebrations and office parties. Should celebrating be part of your plans, top off your evening with one of Ragtime's desserts. Homemade Key lime cheesecake, beignets and triple-chocolate brownies are so sweet you might be tempted to skip the entrées altogether and order only the last course.
