| Ray's Hell Burger is a go-to burger destination that attracts lines of hungry eaters. It’s definitely no-frills fare, and, of course, simply good hamburgers are offered in a variety of renditions. First, realize that the burgers are huge, weighing in at ten ounces. Next, it’s up to you to assemble the end product, with choices ranging from grilled, seared with a peppercorn crust, blackened with a Cajun rub, or brushed with a spicy chipotle marinade. Diners then select from assorted add-ons (think seared foie gras with truffle oil) or opt for one of the house specials---what about the Big Punisher with its overload of heat from chipotle sauce and grilled jalapeños? It’s counter service here so place your order, grab a table (should one exist) and wait till a harried staff member brings the meal. Note: The restaurant is cash only. |
