The Righteous Room Restaurant Review

: The Righteous Room established its reputation for late-night fare with appeal to vegetarian and vegan customers at its original location on Ponce de Leon Avenue. This second outpost, with one of the original owners as a partner, purveys the same menu but offers a completely different look. Festooned with slightly cheesy crystal chandeliers, the restaurant is centered by a large bar focused on TVs. Late at night you'll find folks who work in the hospitality industry looking for conviviality, a brew or two, and some noshes before heading home. The burger, served on a whole-wheat bun, is good with its scattering of blue cheese and onion. A veggie burger can replace the beef, and the chili is based on black beans. We also like the Asian-style slaw with its hit of sesame oil (minus mayo). There are no desserts, but there's plenty of beer, although we think the place is missing the boat by not offering a nonalcoholic brew.
