THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Riviera Restaurant Review:

After a brief closing, The Riviera is back in full force, albeit with a slightly less expensive dinner menu and a reasonably priced lunch menu. The décor and the crowd are the same: old guard in an elegant and understated Provençal-inspired setting. But the once inventive French-Mediterranean menu seems a bit dated. Superb rack of lamb and serious cuts of beef are still outstanding as are the wine list and the service. This is not to say the rest of the menu isn’t good, but it’s been a long time since trout amandine has made anyone want to leap to their feet and dance around the table. Perfect place to take your future in-laws for that very important first meeting.
