Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review: Ruth's Chris Steak House’s menu is the same from one location to the other, and guests can expect a reasonably flavorful steak and fresh seafood. Shrimp rémoulade and the Creole barbecued shrimp are perennial favorites and well-executed versions of the traditional dishes. Steaks are served on a plate that's been heated to 500 degrees, so request a doneness level that's slightly less than what you prefer, as the meat will continue cooking as you enjoy it. The rib-eye is the best choice for a solo diner, while a porterhouse for two is a pretty good deal. Bread pudding and whiskey sauce is the ideal dessert in this environment. The wine list doesn't generate much excitement, but there are serviceable choices by the glass and the bottle. Other locations.
