THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED S.A.B. American Bistro Restaurant Review

: This chef-driven bistro in the ‘burbs is the brainchild of Sean McLendon, an alumnus of Buckhead Life restaurants. McLendon also owns the attached wine store where some 4,000 bottles await thirsty purchasers. McLendon’s menu derives inspiration from American cooking, including some Southern details. Thus, the panzanella is made with cornbread. Chicken and dumplings are embellished with honey lavender and duck sausage. A bistro dinner for two with main dish choices varying from day to day goes for $45 for three courses, a soup or salad, main dish and dessert. Wine dinners are a focus.

The Best Restaurant

We visited SAB in Buford village Saturday night to realize that they have been open for a year??? Who knew? We drive past Buford village everyday and never knew this type of establishment was in Buford. Hamilton mill residents need to visit this spot. Great ambience, great food! Wow what a wine list and to top it off they have a wine store that blows away any shop I've ever visited.. We just happened to pop in as the music started. Yes, live jazz and we were completely satisfied. This is a place we will go as a date night or with friends - and they are kid friendly‎
