THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sa Tsu Ki Restaurant Review:

The surrounding neighborhood of strip joints and fast-food operations doesn’t seem to harm this unpretentious restaurant, which is set farther back from the road than its neighbors. Enter a serene world marked by soji-screen partitions. Smokers have their own space but too many of them can foul everybody’s air. This place is very popular with both the local Japanese community and with Occidentals. The best seats are at the sushi bar, where competent chefs dispense lovely, classically styled sushi, sashimi and rolls. The soft-shell crab roll is a major standout. Hot dishes include beef tataki, the thinly sliced, barely seared Japanese version of carpaccio. While all the traditional tastes, from tempura to tonkatsu, are a cut above, the secret treats are the special dishes like heads-on deep-fried shrimp and grilled yellowfin tuna.
