Sans Souci Restaurant Review

: Sans Souci, with its elegant dining room, rich Mediterranean accents and hand-painted wall murals, transports you from its home in downtown Cleveland to a French Provençal auberge. The menu, which changes often, is reminiscent of French country cooking, resulting in dishes like free-range chicken paired with house dumplings and a flavorful natural jus. Generally, count on seafood taking center stage among both appetizers and entrées. An extensive wine list --- heavy on offerings from Spain, France and Italy but not without some domestic players as well --- provides any number of ways to complement your meal. Desserts made by the in-house pastry chef are some of the best in the city and usually include crème brûlée.
